The knights of the BDS order
European governments have a duty to check what is being done with taxpayer funds, and whether they are being used to promote peace and nonviolence.
The Norwegian government transferred 5 million kroner ($600,000) to the Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Secretariat, based in Ramallah. It would have been a welcome donation had this body not been responsible for funding anti-Israeli organizations that seek to undermine the existence of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.
The taxpayers in Norway certainly will not be happy to learn that their money is being invested in objectives that run counter to their own values.
